AhlulBayt News Agency: The deputy commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC) Quds Force for Coordination Affairs says that the capabilities of Iranian forces have increased, and they are ready to respond to any threat.
Brigadier General Iraj Masjedi, the Deputy Coordinator of the IRGC Quds Force, in an interview with Defapress, described the plan to disarm Hezbollah of Lebanon as an "American-Zionist plan" and stated, "Certainly, neither the people of Lebanon nor the Resistance force of Hezbollah will accept this plan, and this will never be achieved."
Brigadier General Masjedi stated that the weapons of the Resistance are the weapons of the people of Lebanon to defend this land against the aggressions of the Zionist regime, adding, "The issue of disarmament is not a new topic, but it is by no means practical."
Referring to the readiness situation of the armed forces after the 12-day war, Masjedi warned that if the enemies intend to attack, the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran will respond with full readiness and with full power.
"The capabilities of our forces have increased, and they are ready to respond to any threat," he stressed.
On June 13, Israel launched a blatant and unprovoked aggression against Iran, triggering a 12-day war that killed at least 1,064 people in the country, including military commanders, nuclear scientists, and ordinary civilians.
The United States also entered the war by bombing three Iranian nuclear sites in a grave violation of international law.
In response, the Iranian Armed Forces targeted strategic sites across the occupied territories as well as the al-Udeid air base in Qatar, the largest American military base in West Asia.
On June 24, Iran, through its successful retaliatory operations against both the Israeli regime and the US, managed to impose a halt to the terrorist aggression.
