(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Turkish government expressed its willingness to transfer the box of Lady Fatiatul Zehra (PBUH), which is currently displayed at Tob-Qabi museum in Istanbul, to the museum of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
The Turksh ambassador to Iraq Mr. Faruq Qiemachi said during a visit he made to the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine on Feb 13, 2014 that the Turkish Embassy was struggling to facilitate transferring the box of Lady Fatimatul Zehra (Peace Be Upon Her) to the museum of the Imam Hussein Holy shrine.
He mentioned that Kerbala is the holy city not only for Iraq, but for the whole world. He expressed his admiration in the priceless antiquities available at the museum of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine.
Mr. Ala' Dhya' Ed-Deen, the head of the museum of the Imam Hussein Holy Shrine said that the visit was made on the sidelines of the cooperation between the two countries in terms of collecting information on the antiquities and the box of Lady Fatimatul Zehra (Peace Be Upon Her) particularly.
The Turkish government displayed the box to a delegation from the Imam Hussein Holy shrine during a visit made for that purpose.
It has been mentioned that the box used to be in the Mesjid (Mosque) of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUHPL) in Medina and was transferred to Istanbul in 1971.
