AhlulBayt News Agency: The secretary general of Lebanon’s Hezbollah resistance movement will not achieve its goals in the Arab country.
Speaking in a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on Friday, Sheikh Naim Qassem said given the national solidarity in Lebanon, the Zionist enemy will not be able to reach its goals by continuing its aggressions.
He said Hezbollah, in cooperation with other groups and support from the Lebanese army and people, liberated the country, al-Manar reported.
The path of Hezbollah in the fields of resistance, parliament, government and the public domain has always been brilliant, Sheikh Qassem stressed.
Noting that the Israeli regime’s acts of aggression have not stopped since the 2024 ceasefire agreement, he said Lebanon is in the heart of a storm of instability and the main cause of which are the US and the Zionist regime.
The Iranian top diplomat who arrived in Beirut on Thursday, also held talks with his Lebanese counterpart on the development of bilateral ties based on mutual respect and common interests.
