AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a statement, Hojat al-Islam Nabil Halbawi, a Syrian member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized the necessity of unified resistance by the Islamic Ummah in the face of threats posed by the U.S. and the Zionist regime, and affirmed the need for full support of the leadership of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Parts of the statement read:
“Gaza, a symbol of dignity in contemporary Islamic history, finds no support besides a limited Axis including few countries and groups, such as Lebanese Hezbollah, Iraqi Hashd Al-Sha’abi, the heroic Yemeni Ansarullah, and above all, the Islamic Republic of Iran, which, with its army and people, especially its Leader, stands alone in support.”
“The Leader of Iran is a steadfast mountain, unshaken by storms; a figure who combines the teaching of religion to jurists, high literary taste, a rich and fruitful culture, leadership capability, outward charisma, and a profound love for the unity and dignity of the Ummah.”
“The American regime, alongside the most despised entity in history, the Zionist regime, has shamelessly and vilely issued threats to assassinate this great divine and human Leader.”
“The Ummah is called upon to rise with all its factions above even the gravest internal differences, to reject and condemn this affront to its dignity, and to follow the example of the Iranian nation’s firm stance in defense of its land and religion.”
