AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Following the brazen aggression of the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, in a strongly-worded statement denouncing this savage attack, elaborated on the role and responsibilities of all those affiliated with the Assembly around the world.
After extending congratulations on the occasion of the auspicious Eid al-Ghadir, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed condolences to the Supreme Leader, the Iranian nation, particularly the families of the martyrs and the wounded, for the martyrdom of civilians, scientists, and Iranian commanders, and added, “In an evident act of aggression and an undeniable crime, the occupying and criminal Zionist regime unjustly launched attacks in violation of territorial integrity and contrary to the interests and national sovereignty of the Islamic Republic, targeting public security and residential areas in several parts of Tehran and other Iranian cities. All of these aggressions, according to globally accepted legal frameworks, are in violation of legal norms and international principles, and are by no means justifiable or defensible, but rather reflect the weakness, cowardice, and lack of identity of the occupying regime.”
The statement further read, “The strategic miscalculations and numerous mistakes of the Zionist regime, driven by the incitement and comprehensive support of bloodthirsty America in shedding the blood of innocent people, will, by God’s grace, bring about severe and ruinous consequences for them.”
The Assembly’s statement added, “In response to the united voice of free nations, fair-minded and courageous students and professors across the world who stand on the right side of history, we all feel that a collective and forceful response must be mounted against the wicked identity of Zionist terrorism.”
The statement concluded, “Everyone knows that starting a war against Islamic Iran is an act of aggression against the sanctity of the AhlulBayt’s (a.s.) shrines, and now all the freedom-seekers of the world, especially the AhlulBayt-affiliated groups and individuals linked to this Assembly, can, louder than ever before, declare the Zionists’ terrorism and aggression, while the Iranian nation, more unified and cohesive than ever, will deliver a resolute response to this child-killing and terrorist regime.”
