AhlulBayt News Agency: Addressing Ashura gathering, central leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, stated that Imam Hussain (A.S) embraced the most difficult of trials by following in the footsteps and teachings of the prophets, drawing a clear line between truth and falsehood. He declared that the message of Karbala is one of resistance against tyranny and salvation for humanity. To confront today’s Yazids, we must adopt the character of Hussain (A.S).
He emphasized that the unparalleled sacrifice made by Imam Hussain (A.S) on the battlefield of Karbala remains a shining example for all of humanity. “Throughout history, many sacrifices have been made, but the sacrifice of the people of Karbala stands unique,” he said. Allama Domki added, “Imam Hussain (A.S) is the gateway to paradise, and those who oppose him are deserving of hell.”
He condemned those who object to mourning gatherings and processions, stating that such people are in fact trying to erase the remembrance of Imam Hussain (A.S). But history bears witness that while the tyrannical empires of Banu Umayyah and Banu Abbas have vanished, the name of Hussain (A.S) continues to echo across the world.
Allama Domki stressed that in every era, those who raise the voice of truth and justice find their leader and guide in Imam Hussain (A.S), and Karbala is their school. “Whenever there is a call to rise against the Yazids of the time, the name of Hussain (A.S) is on the lips of those who carry the banner of truth.”
Referring to the current atrocities in Palestine and Gaza, where 60,000 innocent lives have been lost, he questioned, “Among the 57 Islamic countries, which leader has stepped forward to defend the religion of God and the oppressed Muslim Ummah?”
He stated that the only such leader is Syed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, who has fearlessly challenged the enemies of Islam like Netanyahu and Donald Trump, while some Arab rulers were busy offering their daughters and sisters at Trump’s feet, embodying humiliation and disgrace.
Allama Maqsood Ali Domki concluded by saying, “Today, the difference between Hussaini Islam and Yazidi Islam has become clear before the world. We are the Karbalais of our time, and, God willing, we will continue to walk firmly on the path of truth. Karbala teaches us to rise against oppression, stand with the oppressed, and never bow before falsehood.”
