Iran's Judiciary Chief urges national unity amid U.S.-Israeli aggression

Iran's Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has called for the reinforcement of national unity, warning that any divisive rhetoric or actions are both unacceptable and detrimental to the country's cohesion.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran's Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei has called for the reinforcement of national unity, warning that any divisive rhetoric or actions are both unacceptable and detrimental to the country's cohesion.

Speaking at a session of the Judiciary’s High Council on Monday, as reported by Mizan news agency, Ejei emphasized that promoting unity is a noble duty, while sowing division is both inappropriate and harmful, especially under the current circumstances. He noted that individuals and institutions with public influence—including the national media—bear significant responsibility in preserving unity.

According to IRNA, Ejei also referenced the recent U.S.-Israeli aggression against Iran, describing it as a moment that once again underscored the wisdom and strategic foresight of Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei. According to Ejei, the Leader’s guidance effectively exposed and neutralized hostile plots, rallying the nation around a common cause.

He remarked that even Iranians critical of domestic conditions reaffirmed their allegiance to the Leader in the face of foreign threats, highlighting the central role of leadership in consolidating national solidarity.

Reiterating the necessity of maintaining this unity, Ejei cautioned that external adversaries would continue using deceitful tactics to sow discord and weaken the country from within. He urged heightened vigilance across all sectors of society.

Touching on the recent mutual ceasefire between Iran and Israel, Ejei warned against placing trust in what he described as the “cowardly and wicked” Zionist and American enemies. He stressed that while Iran does not seek war, it is fully prepared to defend itself against any imposed conflict, rejecting both forced war and imposed peace.
