AhlulBayt News Agency: In response to recent U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in Isfahan, Natanz, and Fordow, Judiciary Chief Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei strongly criticized what he described as Washington’s contradictory stance—claiming to support peace while actively advancing militaristic policies in West Asia.
During a Monday session of the Supreme Council of the Judiciary, Mohseni-Ejei warned that such acts of aggression would not go unanswered by the Islamic Republic. He asserted that the U.S. decision to directly target Iran followed what he called the failure of the Israeli regime to achieve its objectives through its own military assaults.
According to IRNA, the chief justice condemned the attacks as clear violations of international law and norms, arguing that American leaders forfeited their credibility to speak of civilization and global rules by engaging in such unlawful conduct.
He also announced that the judiciary would prioritize legal action against individuals with ties to the Israeli regime, aiming to expedite judicial proceedings related to security matters.
In addition, Mohseni-Ejei called on judicial bodies to cooperate closely with President Masoud Pezeshkian’s administration to help stabilize the domestic market and ensure consistent access to essential goods for Iranian citizens.
