AhlulBayt News Agency: Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, senior military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, has stated that the downfall of the Israeli regime is accelerating, citing what he described as its worsening internal and regional position.
In remarks to reporters, Safavi extended condolences over the martyrdom of more than 20 senior Iranian military commanders—including former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces, General Mohammad Hossein Bagheri—who lost their lives during the recent conflict.
According to Mehr, he reiterated that the Iranian nation will ultimately prevail and that enemy forces have consistently failed in their objectives to subdue Iran, topple the Islamic Revolution, or orchestrate a successful coup against the state.
Turning to the Israeli regime, Safavi asserted that its collapse is intensifying and claimed that the blood of martyrs across Gaza, Lebanon, Palestine, and Syria will be avenged. He said the destruction of Israel and its leadership, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, is now progressing more rapidly than ever.
He also described a broader geopolitical shift, arguing that the balance of power is moving toward the Islamic world, which he said is centered on the Islamic Revolution and supported by a population of 1.6 billion Muslims. According to Safavi, this dynamic will ultimately eclipse the influence of Western powers, particularly the United States, which he predicted will continue its decline on the global stage.
