Karoline Leavitt, the White House press secretary, confirmed at a briefing on Monday that Ron Dermer, a senior adviser to Netanyahu, is currently in Washington for meetings with U.S. officials ahead of the visit.
Reuters reported that an Israeli official in Washington also confirmed the upcoming meeting between the two leaders, which comes as the United States continues to push for a ceasefire in Gaza and broader regional de-escalation.
