AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The bomb blast that occurred during Friday prayers at Jamia Masjid Khadijat-ul-Kubra in Islamabad has been strongly condemned. The incident has been described as deeply tragic and a clear reflection of administrative failure in the federal capital.
Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Maithami, Central Secretary General of the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, denounced the attack in the strongest terms, stating that targeting worshippers in a place of worship is a heinous act of terrorism and a direct assault on humanity, religious sanctity, and peace.
He expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured. He also demanded that the injured be provided with immediate and proper medical treatment.
Allama Dr. Shabbir Hasan Maithami questioned the performance of the security and administrative authorities, saying that such an incident in a sensitive area like the capital raises serious concerns about security arrangements. He called for an immediate investigation, the arrest of those responsible, and their prosecution to the fullest extent of the law.
He emphasized that society must remain united against terrorism to restore peace and ensure the safety of innocent citizens.
