Volunteer Activists Should Not Be Discouraged by Hardships and Neglect, Says ABWA’s Secretary-General

Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, in a meeting with members of the Mo‘in al-Zo‘afa Volunteer Headquarters, stressed precise audience awareness in engaging younger generations, cadre-building for seminaries, and strengthening adolescents’ intellectual foundations as key priorities of the Revolution’s cultural front.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A group of officials, preachers, and mentors from the Mo‘in al-Zo‘afa volunteer group met with Ayatollah Reza Ramazani at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the holy city of Qom.

At the beginning of the meeting, representatives of the group presented a report on their activities across 18 provinces nationwide.

Expressing satisfaction with the continuity of the group’s work, Ayatollah Ramazani underscored the need to draft a five- to ten-year strategic plan. He noted that the outcomes of cultural initiatives do not emerge in the short term and emphasized the importance of patience and broad-mindedness.

According to him, activists in this field should not become weary of hardships or neglect; rather, they should persevere and “wear out fatigue itself” through steadfastness.

The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly observed that obstacles are always present and that the faster and more impactful an organization becomes, the greater the challenges it will face.

He identified three essential pillars for educational programs: knowledge, affection, and obedience, explaining that knowledge in beliefs, ethics, and jurisprudence builds the human foundation, deepens love for the AhlulBayt (a.s.), and ultimately leads to obedience.

Ayatollah Ramazani added that, in the present era, obedience is embodied in adherence to Wilayat, which has become a source of strength for the Islamic Ummah on the global stage.

Calling for religious content to be presented in clear language aligned with the contemporary needs of youth, he criticized weaknesses in audience sociology, saying they have contributed to intellectual gaps between generations.

He also advised jihadi groups to engage in internal critique before facing external criticism, in order to facilitate managerial and operational growth.

Highlighting the active participation of women in jihadi fields as highly valuable, Ayatollah Ramazani described it as a global capacity. Referring to the prominent role of women in the future global governance of Imam Mahdi (a.s.), he stressed the importance of allocating meaningful roles to women in educational activities.

Citing a narration from Imam Sadiq (a.s.), he enumerated eight qualities for Shiites, including wisdom, jurisprudential insight, forbearance, loyalty, and honesty, and called for nurturing adolescents based on these ethical and behavioral standards.
