AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani, a seminary professor and a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly issued a statement on the anniversary of the Iranian people’s demonstrations in 1978.
In this statement, he said, “On the eve of the anniversary of the January 9, 1978 demonstrations, the anniversary of the uprising of the faithful people of Qom and the dawn of the glorious Islamic Revolution, it is fitting for the faithful men and women to commemorate those luminous days with a heroic presence, silence the nonsensical talk of the leaders of crime and oppression in today's world, and make these short-sighted bloodthirsty individuals, condemned in international courts and the courts of their own countries, understand that these people will never accept a shah or petty shahs chosen by global bloodsuckers as their leaders.”
Hadavi added, “If these individuals are seeking freedom and democracy, they should stop their crimes in Gaza, Venezuela, and Minnesota. The world should know that the problems of Islamic Iran will be solved by the divine thought and wisdom of the Iranian people, and these valiant people have no need for a guardian, especially one of a criminal and dictatorial nature.”
