AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The unveiling ceremony for the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly’s Achievements Exhibition was held. The ceremony took place at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, with Ayatollah Sayed Ahmad Khatami, a member of the Supreme Council; Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, the Secretary-General of the Assembly; and a group of managers and officials from scientific and cultural centers in attendance.
In this meeting, the Secretary-General of the Assembly stated, “The AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly is, in fact, one of the blessed trees designed by the Supreme Leader of the Revolution, Grand Ayatollah Sayed Ali Khamenei. During one of the meetings where we were presenting a report on the Assembly’s activities to him, the Supreme Leader pointed with his hand several times to the image of the martyr Ayatollah Sayed Mohammad Baqer al-Hakim (r.a.) and said, ‘This man had suggested the establishment of such an institution to us.’ He then paused for a moment there, honoring the memory of the companions of those days; great figures who were all close associates of the martyr al-Hakim.”
Emphasizing the standing of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in the world, he said, “The ultimate goal of this Assembly is to achieve a form of scientific and spiritual authority that is trusted and favored by all; an authority where anyone in the world who wants to know about AhlulBayt (a.s.) and the virtues of their teachings can confidently refer to this center. The world today is full of research and encyclopedias, but an institution that is simultaneously scientific, systematic, and trusted by the world’s scientific bodies is rare. This is a special mission placed upon our shoulders.”
Regarding disseminating the teachings of AhlulBayt (a.s.) to the world, Ayatollah Ramazani said, “The Supreme Leader also stated that we must introduce AhlulBayt (a.s.) and their words and conduct to the world. If we do so, we will undoubtedly conquer the intellectual and moral arenas of the contemporary world. Today, humanity is caught in intellectual, belief-based, moral, and cultural crises, and it is our duty to introduce AhlulBayt (a.s.) comprehensively, deeply, and accurately. Only then will the timelessness of AhlulBayt (a.s.) be properly demonstrated to contemporary man.”
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly stated, “The Achievements Exhibition of the Assembly must be a symbol of this very approach; an exhibition that shows all dimensions of this institution’s cultural, intellectual, scientific, and international activities. Until now, many scholars and elites had to refer to different departments to learn about the Assembly’s performance, but now they can become familiar with all areas of activity through one comprehensive visit.”
He concluded by saying, “We pray to Almighty God to place us among the sincere servants of AhlulBayt (a.s.) so that we may continue this path for the satisfaction of Imam Mahdi (a.s.) and the fulfillment of the intentions of the Supreme Leader. May God willing, the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly be increasingly successful in spreading the luminous teachings of AhlulBayt (a.s.) and strengthening the Shiite cultural front across the world.”
