AhlulBayt News Agency: On the sixth night of Muharram, His Eminence visited one of the underprivileged neighborhoods in Qom to participate in a mourning gathering organized by the Afghan community there in honor of Hazrat Abal-Fazl al-Abbas (A.S).
At the conclusion of the ceremony, he briefly expressed his happiness to be among his Afghan brothers, highlighting the Quranic verse “Indeed, the believers are but brothers” (Al-Hujurat 49:10), stressing the significance of maintaining respect and human dignity in social relations.
He described Shia Muslims worldwide as brothers united under the flag of Imam Hussain (A.S) and urged everyone to uphold politeness and mutual respect.
Furthermore, Grand Ayatollah Karimi Jahromi acknowledged the longstanding tradition of the Afghan people in expressing their love for the AhlulBayt (A.S) and prayed for the success of the mourners in reviving the legacy of the AhlulBayt (A.S).
