AhlulBayt News Agency: The Yemeni Armed Forces have launched a missile strike targeting occupied territories, setting off emergency sirens in over 300 towns and settlements.
According to reports on Sunday, sirens rang out in occupied Al-Quds and Tel Aviv following a ballistic missile launch from Yemen, prompting thousands of settlers to seek shelter.
According to IRNA, the attack led to a temporary suspension of airspace at Ben Gurion Airport, causing disruptions to multiple flights, including arrivals from Boston and London, Israeli media outlet Yedioth Ahronoth reported.
Since March 18, when Israel resumed its military campaign in Gaza after a ceasefire with Hamas ended in January, Yemeni forces have fired at least 43 ballistic missiles at Israeli-controlled areas.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have been carrying out missile strikes on Israeli positions in the occupied territories and targeting Israeli-linked shipping in the Red Sea since November 2023, soon after the war in Gaza began.
Yemeni officials have reiterated that their operations will continue until Israel halts its war on Gaza and lifts the ongoing blockade.
