US confirms attack on Qeshm Island / Trump claims a deal is possible!

While Donald Trump, hours before America's attack on Qeshm Island, was claiming victory and speaking about the possibility of reaching a deal with Iran, American officials revealed the military operation and the targeting of Iran's radar facilities and missile sites.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): American officials told the Wall Street Journal early Tuesday that the country's military had carried out an attack on Qeshm Island.

These sources, whose names were not disclosed, claimed, "America has been conducting limited attacks against Iran for several weeks."

The report claimed, "America's attacks are defensive and aimed at preventing Iran from attacking commercial ships in the Strait of Hormuz."

The Wall Street Journal, citing these officials, wrote, "The Washington government constantly grapples with the threats that American forces face in the region."

A source also added that America had not openly confirmed the recent attacks on Iran so as not to show any sign of readiness to resume the war against Iran.

On the other hand, NewsNation network also reported, citing an American official, "During the attacks on Qeshm Island, Iran's radar facilities and missile launch sites were targeted."

This source claimed, "We carried out this attack in response to the Iranians' use of ground-to-air missiles against American assets." Minutes later, the Axios website also wrote that Iranian forces fired a missile at an American fighter jet on Monday evening. After that, the American fighter jet, in self-defense, targeted that missile launch site.

Trump, hours before the attack, claimed a deal with Iran was possible and rejected the possibility of military aggression after the midterm elections

This comes as Donald Trump, hours before this aggressive action, in continuation of his claims and contradictory rhetoric, once again on the eve of the congressional midterm elections, while a Republican defeat is likely, claimed by making a promise, "Iran wants to reach a deal, and this deal may be achieved!"

This White House official, repeating his contradictory claims, claimed, "The price of oil has fallen by $10 today, which is the largest daily drop in history. Such a decline has never occurred in a single day. The price of oil will go much lower because we are winning."

He once again repeated his repetitive boasts about Iran's peaceful nuclear program and claimed, "I cannot allow Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon."

Trump once again, repeating his claims to shirk responsibility for the aggression against Iran, claimed, "Of course, I am not sure we can call it a war because we have not had any particular conflict for months and we firmly control the Strait of Hormuz!"

The American president, one day before the congressional midterm elections, addressed Americans and said, "I hope people take the drop in oil prices into account when voting!"

Trump, in another part of his remarks, referring to the investments made in the country, said that during his administration, the construction of various factories, including ultra-advanced artificial intelligence production centers, automobile factories, and pharmaceutical facilities, has expanded.

He stated, "Factories are being built right now. Currently, $22.5 trillion has been invested in America. We are building automobile factories, ultra-advanced artificial intelligence factories, as well as pharmaceutical production centers and laboratories."

Trump also, in continuation of his contradictory claims, after his remarks, in response to a reporter's question, rejected the possibility of military aggression after the midterm elections.

Garrett Haake, an NBC News reporter, wrote on the X social network, "Trump, after his speech in Washington, in response to a question about the possibility of another attack against Iran after the congressional midterm elections, said 'no.'"

According to this reporter, Trump did not answer another question while leaving the session.
