AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): On the 40th day of the aggressions by the United States and the Zionist regime against the people of Iran, political activists and social movements in Brasília held a ceremony to honor the memory of the 168 martyred schoolgirls in Minab and declare their solidarity with the resilient Iranian nation.
The ceremony took place in front of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, where participants paid tribute to the victims and emphasized the continuation of the path of resistance against global domination. At this event, the martyred Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei was honored as a symbol of steadfastness and leadership on the path of resistance.
The atmosphere of the ceremony was shaped by candles, images of the martyrs, and anti-arrogance slogans, with mourning intertwined with clear political and cultural messages in support of Iran.
Speakers described Iran's resistance as an inspiring model in confronting American imperialism and characterized the recent attacks as blatant and unjustifiable aggression.
João Vicente Goulart, the president of the Communist Party of Brazil in the Federal District, referring to his observations of Iran, described Western narratives about the country as distorted and emphasized the dynamism of Iranian society, particularly the active role of women.
Referring to recent developments, he called for strengthening solidarity among independent and anti-hegemony forces worldwide.
Claudia Regina from the Workers' Party, referring to the suffering of the martyrs' families, emphasized the necessity of standing against violence and defending the lives and future of children, stating that silence in the face of these crimes is unacceptable.
Subsequently, Claide Martins, director of the "Never Again" network, warned of the global dimensions of this aggression and stressed the necessity of uniting nations against the hegemonic policies of the United States, pointing to the greed of great powers for the world's natural resources.
In conclusion, Abdollah Nekounam Qadirli, the Iranian ambassador to Brazil, expressing gratitude for this solidarity, emphasized the dignity, history, and indomitable spirit of the Iranian nation in the face of pressure—a stance previously underscored by Ali Reza Mirjalali, the Iranian cultural attaché.
