AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Religious leader and Shia Waqf Board chairman maulana Kalbe Jawad Naqvi condemns terrorist attack on Shia mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Strong condemnation has been expressed over the terrorist attack at the Khadijat-ul-Kubra Mosque in Islamabad, Pakistan.

The General Secretary of the All India Shia Ulema Council and Friday prayer leader, Maulana Syed Kalbe Jawad Naqvi, along with the Chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Shia Central Waqf Board, Ali Zaidi, described the attack as cowardly, reprehensible, and a crime that has shaken humanity.

Condemning the terrorist attack on the Shia Khadija-tul-Kubra Mosque in Islamabad, Maulana Kalbe Jawad Naqvi said that the Government of Pakistan has completely failed to protect its minorities. 

He stated that Shias are repeatedly being targeted in Pakistan and called upon all human rights organizations to take action against the ongoing massacre of Shia Community in the country.

Maulana Kalbe Jawad emphasized that those who carry out bombings in mosques can never be Muslims.

Meanwhile, Shia Central Waqf Board Chairman Ali Zaidi said that this was a direct attack on humanity. 

Expressing grief and anger, he stated that it has become necessary to acknowledge that the Shia community in Pakistan has been a victim of organized sectarian terrorism for years. Shia mosques, imambargahs, and religious gatherings have repeatedly been targeted.

However, he added, the Government of Pakistan has failed to take strict action against terrorists. This attack was not merely on a mosque, but on the very foundations of peace, brotherhood, and justice.
