AhlulBayt News Agency: Liaqat Baloch, Vice President of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, has issued a firm warning that any aggression directed toward the Islamic Republic of Iran—its leadership, particularly Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, or its governing institutions—would provoke a powerful reaction from the Pakistani people.
In an interview with Mehr News Agency, Baloch condemned recent threats allegedly made by former U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against Ayatollah Khamenei. He described these statements as provocative and reckless, particularly in light of their failure to achieve any tangible success through previous military actions and pressure campaigns against Iran.
He stated that instead of acknowledging their setbacks, U.S. and Israeli leaders have now escalated matters by threatening the life of Iran’s Supreme Leader—a move he warned constitutes not only a threat to Iran’s sovereignty but also a danger to international peace and security.
Baloch criticized the Israeli regime, labeling it illegitimate and accusing Netanyahu of war crimes, pointing to previous rulings by international courts. He emphasized that this moment demands unity and clarity from international institutions and the wider Islamic Ummah.
The Sunni political and religious figure further asserted that, should any harm come to Ayatollah Khamenei, the Pakistani nation would respond with resolve and intensity. He reiterated that Pakistan’s people and government have always stood in solidarity with Iran, and any hostile act would be met with a resolute and unified response.
