AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Ishaq Dar strongly condemned the unprovoked attacks against Iran.
The spokesperson stated that Pakistan emphasized the urgent need for immediate de-escalation, restoration of diplomacy, and concrete steps toward a peaceful and negotiated resolution of the crisis.
The Foreign Office further said that Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister, Ishaq Dar, received a telephone call from Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi. During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the regional situation and the developments in Iran.
Reiterating Pakistan’s position, the spokesperson said that Ishaq Dar denounced the unjustified attacks on Iran and stressed the importance of reducing tensions without delay, reviving diplomatic engagement, and pursuing a peaceful and negotiated settlement to the crisis.
