AhlulBayt News Agency: The Iranian Ambassador praised Pakistan’s principled role under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar.
He said that Pakistan took a courageous step by calling for a vote against the unjust resolution targeting Iran.
Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam has expressed gratitude to Pakistan for voting against the anti-Iran resolution at the United Nations Human Rights Council.
In a statement, he said that by voting against the resolution, Pakistan adopted a principled stance in support of Iran at the UN Human Rights Council.
He commended Pakistan’s principled role under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, adding that Pakistan demonstrated courage by demanding a vote on the unfair resolution against Iran.
According to the Iranian Ambassador, the 12-day aggression, externally backed unrest, and attempts to misuse international institutions have failed, and political and baseless actions against Iran have faced a third consecutive setback.
Reza Amiri Moghadam said that Pakistan’s support reflects its commitment to justice, human rights, multilateralism, and national sovereignty. He emphasized that Iran will always remember and value this principled and consistent support.
