AhlulBayt News Agency: In light of the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the All Jammu and Kashmir Shia Association is stepping forward to serve humanity by organizing an Emergency Blood Donation Camp. The event is scheduled for Sunday, 11 May 2025, at Imambargah Chinabal, Baramulla, in close partnership with the Directorate of Health Services, Kashmir.
The initiative comes at a critical time, aiming to strengthen the region’s emergency preparedness by ensuring that local hospitals and medical centers have sufficient blood reserves to deal with any potential crises that may arise from the prevailing security situation.
Association leaders have appealed to all communities, especially the youth, to actively participate in this life-saving mission. The organizers stressed that donating blood is a humanitarian duty that transcends all barriers and can make a real difference in times of need.
Medical staff from the Directorate of Health Services will be on-site to ensure that all donations are carried out safely and hygienically, following standard health protocols.
“We urge every capable individual to step forward,” said a representative of the Association. “Your single act of generosity could save multiple lives. Let us come together as one community to face these uncertain times with unity and compassion.”
Refreshments and medical certificates of appreciation will be provided to all participants.
