AhlulBayt News Agency: Representative of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in India, Hujjat-ul-Islam Abdul Majeed Hakim Elahi, has issued a statement of condemnation against the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. The statement is as follows:
The news of the barbaric and terrorist attack on the innocent people in Pahalgam, Kashmir has filled our hearts with deep sorrow and grief. We, in the light of the wise guidance of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei (may Allah have mercy on him), believe that such cowardly and terrorist acts are completely contrary to humanity, morality and the teachings of divine religions.
These inhuman and merciless attacks are not only against the noble people of India but also against the entire humanity and the world conscience. It should never be forgotten that terrorism has no religion, or sect. Such anti-human elements are trying to undermine the peace and stability of the world through these criminal acts.
Today, more than ever, we need to thwart these conspiracies with awareness, unity, love and brotherhood and continue on the path of protecting the dignity and honor of human beings and peace.
I offer my heartfelt condolences to the government and the noble people of India, especially the affected families, on this tragic incident, and pray to God Almighty for the speedy recovery of the injured and for the families of the missing persons to be patient and steadfast.
In these difficult moments, we express our complete sympathy and solidarity with the dear people and government of India, and pray to God to make this land a cradle of peace, tranquility, coexistence and reconciliation.
