AhlulBayt News Agency: Addressing the gathering, the leaders said that the 8th of Shawwal is the darkest day for the entire Islamic world, when the Saudi government, intoxicated by power, demolished the sacred shrines of the AhluBayt (a.s) and Sahaba (r.a) buried in Jannat al-Baqi, deeply hurting the sentiments of Muslims around the world.
They said that the demolition of Jannat al-Baqi was not a jurisprudential issue, but a political ploy, rooted in deep-seated hatred and enmity towards the family of the Prophet (a.s). While all civilized nations around the world protect and preserve the relics of their ancestors, this destruction stands in stark contrast.
“It is deeply saddening that the Prophet (PBUH), who is a mercy for the entire Ummah, has a daughter whose grave Muslims are not even allowed to shade,” the leaders expressed with grief.
They emphasized that this day must be commemorated by the entire Muslim world, and voices must be raised for the reconstruction of Jannat al-Baqi. This is a responsibility of every dignified and conscientious Muslim and a testament to humanity.
“We urge the Government of Pakistan to demand that the Saudi government immediately reconstruct Jannat al-Baqi,” the leaders declared.
The protest saw participation from Jafaria Alliance Pakistan’s Hyderabad district officials, including Syed Siraj Baig, Zain Hussain, Ahmer Chandio, Khatib-e-Ahlulbayt Azad Hussain Masoomi (Ulema Committee), Maulana Ashraf Asadi, Abdul Aziz Patoli from Qasimabad Zone, Syed Azadar Taqvi (President of Latifabad Zone), Allama Gul Hasan Murtazavi (President of Majlis Wahdat-e-Azadari Wing Hyderabad), Allama Syed Jibran Haider Zaidi, Maulana Sajid Ali Sajidi, Mustafa Ali Haidari, Syed Majid Naqvi, Shakeel Siddiqui, Syed Shahid Kazmi, Jaman Solangi, Aashiq Soomro, Syed Abrar Shah, Shahab Sheikh, Ehsan Ali, Azmat Hussain, and many more officials from religious organizations, associations, and institutions of Hyderabad city.
