Worrying Situation in Parachinar: MWM Delegation Meets Ex former National Assembly Speaker

The Central Secretary General of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi Advocate, has termed the current situation in Parachinar as unacceptable.

AhlulBayt News Agency: He stated that the siege of Parachinar during the holy month of Ramadan is enough to awaken all centers of power in the country.

He questioned how law enforcement agencies could ensure peace and security in the country if they could not even open such a small route.

The situation in Parachinar is worsening day by day. Road blockades are violating basic human rights, poverty is increasing rapidly, and the shortage of essential goods is making life difficult for the people.

The MWM's central delegation met with former National Assembly Speaker and MNA from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Asad Qaiser, at his residence to discuss the issue.

The delegation was led by MWM's Vice Chairman, Allama Ahmed Iqbal Rizvi, and included the party’s Central Political Secretary, Syed Asad Abbas Naqvi. During the meeting, MWM's Secretary General, Syed Nasir Abbas Shirazi, discussed the situation in Parachinar with the PTI leader and urged him to pressurize the provincial government to fulfill its responsibilities.

He emphasized the immediate need to open the roads to ease people's suffering.

On this occasion, Engineer Hamid Hussain, a Member of the National Assembly from Kurram and the Parliamentary Leader of MWM, also expressed grave concerns regarding the situation.

In conclusion, Asad Qaiser assured that he would play his role in improving the situation. It is worth noting that MWM delegations are continuously meeting with various political and administrative institutions in coordination with the senior leaders of Parachinar. The Chairman of MWM has also raised the issue in a special Senate session, urging all centers of power to fulfill their responsibilities.
