AhlulBayt News Agency: An online course on interpretation of the Quran and religious topic will be held in Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan.
The representative office of the Astan (custodianship) of Hazrat Abbas (AS) holy shrine in the South Asian country will organize the course, al-Kafeel reported.
Sheikh Nassir Abbas Najafi, the head of the office, said it has prepared special cultural and religious programs for the month of Ramadan.
One of them is the online course “Dhayf al-Rahman”, which will be held via the Zoom platform, he said.
The course will run for 30 days and aims to provide comprehensive religious lessons, including Quran interpretation, Islamic jurisprudence, ethics, and the Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), with the participation of a group of specialized scholars, he noted.
Another program is holding a scholarly meeting titled ‘The Legacy of Najaf’ to examine the scientific and intellectual heritage of the city of Najaf, he stated.
Also, 25 scholars from the Najaf Islamic Seminary will be sent to various regions of Pakistan to hold religious sessions, teach Islamic rulings, address jurisprudential and theological questions, and implement the ‘Ramadan Itikaf’ project, according to Sheikh Najafi.
The project includes organizing religious gatherings, Quranic interpretation sessions, and providing jurisprudential lessons for those participating in Itikaf, he went on to say.
These programs are part of the efforts of the Astan to spread the teachings of the Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS) and provide religious and cultural services to communities around the world, he concluded.
