AhlulBayt News Agency: In celebration of the birth anniversary of Imam Ali (AS), a Quranic gathering was held at the sacred shrine of Imam Ali in Najaf, organized by the Dar al-Quran of the holy shrine.
The event, part of the programs commemorating Imam Ali (AS) birthday, was held in the shrine's courtyard.
Alaa Mohsen, head of the Dar al-Quran at the shrine, shared details about the event, stating, “This gathering featured recitations by prominent Quranic figures, including Abdullah al-Sailawi, Hassan al-Dhibhawi, and Karar Amama.”
The event drew a large number of pilgrims and included a prize draw, where gifts were distributed to attendees, adding to the excitement and engagement of the participants.
Highlighting the significance of Quranic circles, Alaa Mohsen noted, “Such events foster spiritual growth among pilgrims, especially within the sacred space of Imam Ali's shrine, often referred to as the 'Living Quran.'
“These gatherings provide pilgrims with an opportunity to immerse themselves in the shrine's spiritual atmosphere and benefit from the Quranic blessings,” he added.
The Dar al-Quran of the Alawi shrine regularly organizes Quranic programs, including recitation sessions every Friday. It also conducts continuous Khatm Quran sessions aimed at promoting a deeper connection to the Quran among pilgrims.
