ABNA24 - A US MQ-9 drone was intercepted and destroyed over the eastern Strait of Hormuz by IRGC air defenses, the 55th such drone downed, the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps said.
The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps said its air defenses intercepted and destroyed an advanced US MQ-9 drone over the eastern Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement, the IRGC's public relations office said the drone was the 55th of its type downed. It was engaged by a new advanced air defense system of the IRGC Aerospace Force operating under the country's integrated air defense network.
