AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The two discussed the need for greater solidarity within the Islamic world, love for the Ahl al-Bayt, the promotion of religious principles, and practical steps to strengthen brotherhood among Muslims.
Grand Ayatollah Najafi underlined the importance of grounding both personal and social life in the teachings of the Quran and the example of the Prophet’s household. He described love for the Ahl al-Bayt and adherence to their way of life as essential elements of authentic Islamic teaching. He called for closer bonds among Muslims and the protection of religious values across the community.
The senior cleric urged the Muslim world to place love for the Prophet Muhammad and his family at the centre of daily life. He recalled that the Prophet himself showed deep affection for the Ahl al-Bayt and repeatedly instructed his followers to maintain close ties with them.
Mufti Naeemi expressed appreciation for the warm reception and the time granted by the ayatollah. He also acknowledged Grand Ayatollah Najafi’s contributions in the religious, scholarly and social spheres.
