AhlulBayt News Agency: President Masoud Pezeshkian has appreciated the “exemplary” role of the Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) in providing rescue and efforts services during 40 days of the US-Israeli-imposed war against the country.
During a visit to the IRCS headquarters in Tehran on Wednesday, Pezeshkian said the sacrifices by the IRCS personnel was a clear example of their social responsibility which has restored hope and tranquility throughout the nation in the most critical moments of the country.
He said that the aggressors’ attacks against hospitals, schools, ambulances and aid forces were not only against all the human principles and international law, but were also a sign of desperation and helplessness in the face of the will of the nations.
The president also appreciated the support for Iran by friendly nations including China, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Iraq as an indication of human solidarity during crises.
