Aref Appreciates the Humanitarian Stance of the Spanish Prime Minister

The First Vice President of Iran, on his personal social media page, while emphasizing the need to stand against aggression, expressed gratitude for the stance of the Spanish government.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Mohammad Reza Aref wrote in a post on X, "Greetings to all those who have bravely stood against aggression and crime, especially the humanitarian stance of Pedro Sanchez. The world must distinguish between the aggressor and the defender."

He further emphasized in this message, "Iran, based on the United Nations Charter, seeks nothing but its legitimate rights and the defense of its national security against encroachment and state terrorism."

Pedro Sanchez, the Prime Minister of Spain, who has maintained a "No to War" discourse since the beginning of the American-Zionist imposed war against Iran, emphasizing that the American-Zionist war in the Middle East is "far worse" than the 2003 Iraq war and "an absolute catastrophe," announced that the Zionist regime wants to repeat the same "destruction" of Gaza in Lebanon.

Sanchez, in a public session of the Spanish Congress defending his government's "No to War" stance, asked a critical question to challenge the illegal and unjustifiable aggression against Iran: "And all of this for what?" — "To weaken international rule of law, destabilize the Middle East, reignite conflicts in Iraq and Lebanon, and bury Gaza under the rubble of oblivion and indifference."
