AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Sayed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement, reiterated his group’s firm opposition to U.S. and Israeli military campaigns against Iran, stating unequivocally, “We will never waver in fulfilling our Islamic duty to wage jihad in the path of God against the tyrants of our time, Jewish Zionists and their American proxies. Should any development on the battlefield require military action, we will enter it with full trust in God, just as we have done in previous stages.”
He stressed that Yemen’s position is clear and unequivocal, “We harbor no hostile intentions toward any Muslim nation. Rather, we call on all Muslim countries to unite in a single front to confront Zionist aggression and American hegemony. Yemen is not neutral, it stands alongside the Islamic Ummah and resists the Zionist project targeting the Muslim world.”
Al-Houthi also highlighted Iran’s critical support for Yemen during the war, stating, “Iran was the sole official supporter of Yemen during its most difficult times, and the Yemeni people regard this support as a sacred commitment.”
Addressing recent regional developments, he praised the resilience of the Iranian people and their internal cohesion, noting that these factors have frustrated the enemies of the Islamic Republic. He added that the performance of Iran’s armed forces, including the IRGC and the regular army, has significantly strengthened the spirit of resistance across the region.
On Iran’s military capabilities, al-Houthi emphasized, “Iran’s missile and drone power has successfully penetrated multiple layers of defense systems and achieved its strategic objectives, proof that can inspire greater unity and steadfastness among nations of the region.”
He affirmed that this regional resistance serves the interests of all countries in the Middle East, including Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, and others.
The leader also criticized certain governments for aligning with the aggression, stating: “Some regimes have placed their resources at the service of this campaign, while Iran, acting solely in self-defense, is condemned and demonized.”
Al-Houthi underscored that what is unfolding is a coordinated American-Israeli assault on the entire region, warning that all nations must recognize this reality. He called for unity across the Islamic world, declaring that confronting this threat is a collective responsibility.
A significant portion of his speech focused on Palestine, where he reaffirmed Yemen’s continuous support for Gaza and the broader Resistance Axis.
He issued a stark warning, “The Zionist threat targets all nations in the region and the entire Muslim world, and this project is clearly underway.”
In closing, al-Houthi dismissed repeated U.S. and Israeli claims about reshaping the Middle East, calling them a transparent attempt to impose new realities through domination and conquest.
