AhlulBayt News Agency: A group of Russian Muslim religious figures and organizations have separately expressed their solidarity with Iran and Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in the face the hostile US policy and military threats against the Islamic Republic.
In a statement on Monday, the Moscow Ahl al-Bayt Society condemned the US president for his insulting rhetoric against Iran and Ayatollah Khamenei, calling Donald Trump an example of the "pharaohs" of the modern time, whose hands are stained with the blood of thousands of innocent people.
Censoring Trump's insulting remarks, the statement read that Ayatollah Khamenei has millions of lovers and admirers around the world, and Russian Muslims, like the people elsewhere, are ready to fight such pharaohs.
Separately, Mufti Nafiullah Ashirov, head of the religious administration of the Muslims of Asian Russia, said that Iran's firm and consistent position in defense of the oppressed of the world is troubling some countries that seek to preserve the current unjust order.
Referring to anti-Iran threats, the prominent Russian Sunni religious scholar noted that amid Israeli genocide of Palestinians, efforts are being made to discredit and weaken the forces that consistently and principledly defend the rights of the Palestinians, and refuse to remain silent in the face of the Israeli brutalities.
Farid Mangaliov, Mufti of Irkutsk, also issued a statement, expressing the support of the Irkutsk region to the Iranian people, government and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
The Shiite community of St. Petersburg, in a statement, said that the global arrogance led by the United States and the usurping, child-killing Israeli regime are seeking to extinguish the divine light illuminating the world from Iran.
Referring to the 12-day war, it noted that the Iranian nation inflicted a crushing and bitter defeat on the United States and Israel that had launched their aggression with all their might last year.
The statement added that the recent terrorist plot hatched by Washington and Tel Aviv was to compensate for their previous defeat but again was thwarted by the Iranian people and security forces.
Rassvet, a cultural and educational organization operating in the Republic of Dagestan, Russia, also announced, in a statement, their support for the Iranian nation, and the efforts of the Iranian government to achieve national sovereignty, independence, and sustainable development of the country.
A Russian spiritual–religious movement known as “Be Yad-e Hossein” has issued a formal statement expressing solidarity with the Iranian nation, condemning the United States and Israel for carrying out terrorist acts and bloody riots in Iran.
The Shiite Muslim Religious Association in Kizlyar city of Dagestan said that enemies' efforts to resist the divine truth will be doomed to failure, emphasizing that such forces [like global hegemon and Israeli regime] throughout the history have attempted to suppress the people’s aspirations for justice, independence, and spiritual freedom.
While expressing its firm support for Iran and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the association underscored that the Iranian people had once again demonstrated their maturity and unity by gathering around Ayatollah Khamenei; this unity and solidarity have become a reliable barrier against any hostile attack.
Similar statements were also issued by several other Muslim religious figures and groups in Russia, declaring their support for the leadership and people of Iran in the face of conspiracies being hatched by the US and the Israeli regime and their allies.
