AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Professor Ilan Pappe, a Jewish historian and anti-occupation activist, called on the Palestinian people to unite in their homeland and abroad, leveraging the global solidarity movement to further isolate Israel and shorten the lifespan of the Zionist regime.
Pappe believes the regime is inevitably doomed to collapse due to internal contradictions and profound global changes resulting from the genocidal war against Gaza.
In an interview with Al-Quds Al-Arabi, Pappe distinguished between the current suffering of Palestinians and the realization of their aspirations in the future: “Our problem in the near future stems from the imbalance of international power in favor of Israel. Despite the brutal two-year genocidal war, not a single Western head of state has used the term ‘genocide.’ Currently, there is no historical justice or moral stance among European governments.”
However, he is convinced that in the long term, the situation will change in favor of the Palestinian people.
