AhlulBayt News Agency: The Leader of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria, Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky addresses a large number of people on the event of the killing of Abdullahi Radhee bn Imam Husain on the plain of Karbala.
He delivered the speech in his residence on Saturday, the 9th of Ashura 1447 (5/7/25) in the presence of brothers and sisters. Also present are some delegates from the Iranian embassy.
He described victory as being steadfast on the path of Allah, even if it means exchanging life (martyrdom), as did Imam Husain (AS) on Ashura Day.
He added that anyone who remains steadfast on the way of Allah and opposes injustice at any time can also achieve martyrdom.
He explained that at various times, and based on the deeds of individuals, there exist Musa and Pharaoh, one shall try to know who is Musa as well as who is Pharaoh of their time; similarly, Yazids also exist at various times who will commit similar atrocities just like the past Yazid. Knowing such individuals by their deeds is necessary. He said.
He concluded that the lessons to be learnt from Ashura are the sacrifice of Imam Husain (alaihis salam).
