AhlulBayt News Agency: A senior adviser to Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has affirmed that the Islamic Republic will not be broken by external pressures, insisting on the nation’s enduring strength and its unwavering commitment to the ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
“Those who dream of subjugating the Iranian nation will carry that illusion to their graves,” declared Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, former defense minister and current senior adviser to the IRGC commander-in-chief.
According to IRNA, his remarks came during the funeral ceremony of Lieutenant General Hossein Salami, the former IRGC commander-in-chief, who was assassinated in a recent Israeli airstrike.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the ceremony, Vahidi stated, “Iran remains proud, strong, and steadfast in following the radiant path of the Islamic Revolution.”
He emphasized that the martyrdom of Salami and other senior commanders would not diminish national resolve. On the contrary, he said, “Their loss will reinforce our determination to advance the principles of the revolution and to defend Islamic values with greater resolve.”
