PSG fans raise banner in Champions League final, demanding end to Gaza genocide

During the UEFA Champions League final, PSG fans displayed a banner condemning the genocide in Gaza, sending a strong message of solidarity. Football leagues across Europe have witnessed similar expressions of support despite pushback.

AhlulBayt News Agency: In a powerful display during the UEFA Champions League final between Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan, Parisian fans raised a large banner reading "Stop the Genocide in Gaza," showing solidarity with Palestinians suffering under Israeli attacks.

The demonstration took place during the match at Munich’s Allianz Arena on Saturday evening, witnessed by tens of thousands of spectators in the stadium and millions watching worldwide.

Broadcast cameras captured the moment PSG fans raised the banner, delivering a clear condemnation of Israel’s ongoing massacres in Gaza.

This was not the first time football fans have shown support for Palestine. Several matches in the English, French, and Spanish leagues this season have seen similar expressions of solidarity, despite attempts by some sports federations to suppress them.

Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain secured their first-ever Champions League title with a dominant 5-0 victory over Inter Milan—the largest winning margin in a final since the tournament’s inception in 1956. The club also completed a historic treble, having already won Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France.
