AhlulBayt News Agency: Yemen has announced efforts to enhance its air defense systems in response to repeated Israeli attacks, vowing to turn enemy aircraft into a source of mockery.
Mahdi al-Mashat, head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, stated that soon there would be good news regarding Israeli aircraft involved in aggression against Yemen.
“You will soon receive, God willing, good news about the Zionist enemy aircraft used in the aggression against our country,” President Al-Mashat said in a statement to Yemen News Agency (SABA).
He added, “Our Armed Forces, particularly our air defenses, will soon turn the enemy’s aircraft into a source of ridicule.”
For the safety of air and maritime navigation, directives have been issued to designate paths used by Israeli forces as dangerous zones for all companies.
Al-Mashat stressed that Yemen’s Armed Forces are capable of handling hostile Israeli aircraft without harming civilian navigation.
The official said the army has issued directives to designate flight paths used by the Zionist regime to attack the country as dangerous zones for all companies.
Al-Mashat urged airlines to avoid routes used by Israel to strike Yemen for their own safety.
Yemen has been repeatedly targeted by Israeli airstrikes in recent weeks. The country claims that Israeli warplanes hide behind civilian aircraft to evade air defense systems.
As the war on Gaza intensifies, Yemen has enforced a strategic blockade on key maritime routes to obstruct military supplies to Israel and push the international community to address the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.
The Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their operations unless Israel halts its ground and aerial offensives in Gaza.
