Hamas calls for global protests to mark 600 days of war on Gaza

Hamas has called for global protests to mark 600 days of Israel’s war on Gaza, urging international condemnation of what it describes as genocide and starvation. The movement demands intensified global action, including demonstrations and sit-ins, to stop Israeli aggression.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Hamas has called for global protests to mark 600 days of what it describes as Israeli "genocide and starvation" against the people of Gaza.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Palestinian resistance movement reiterated its call for international voices to condemn what it calls the Israeli regime’s genocide and starvation targeting defenseless civilians, including children and women.

The group urged organizations and institutions worldwide to intensify global action in cities and public squares against aggression, extermination, and starvation affecting the Palestinian people.

Hamas declared, "We call for global protests to immediately stop the Zionist Holocaust."

The movement further stated, "May the coming days be days of global rage," urging demonstrations, marches, and mass sit-ins.

In recent months, cities across the world have witnessed large-scale protests in solidarity with Palestine.

Demonstrators have taken to the streets in cities such as London, New York, Jakarta, and Cape Town to denounce Israel’s military actions against Palestinian women and children and demand an immediate end to the blockade on Gaza.

Israel launched its offensive against Gaza on October 7, 2023. Since then, more than 54,000 Palestinians—mostly women and children—have lost their lives, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.
