Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei has denounced Israel’s recent airstrikes on Yemen’s vital ports, condemning them as a blatant act of aggression that exposes the regime’s destructive and militaristic agenda.

According to IRNA, In a statement issued Saturday, Baqaei declared that the attacks on Al Hudaydah, Ras Isa, and Salif ports are not only violations of international law and the United Nations Charter but also constitute war crimes and crimes against humanity. He accused Israel of deliberately targeting Yemen’s economic infrastructure to exacerbate the country’s already dire humanitarian crisis, deepening the suffering caused by years of blockade and conflict.

Baqaei further asserted that Israel's actions are part of a broader pattern of hostility toward Muslim nations, warning that such assaults are not isolated incidents but elements of a larger strategy aimed at destabilizing the region. He highlighted the role of the United States, Britain, and other Western governments, condemning their unwavering support for Israel as a major factor in the continuation of such attacks. He argued that this backing emboldens the regime to persist in its warlike policies, not only against Palestine but also against Yemen.

Turning his criticism to the United Nations, Baqaei rebuked the Security Council for its silence and inaction, arguing that its failure to respond meaningfully to Israeli aggression reflects a dangerous erosion of its credibility and authority.

“The Islamic world must rise to confront this relentless aggression. By uniting against expansionism and militarism, Muslim nations can challenge this rogue regime and prevent further instability in the region,” Baqaei urged. He warned that unchecked aggression will not only endanger regional security but also pose a serious threat to global peace.
