AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held an iftar banquet at five different locations in the city of Samarra, as part of the Al-Kafeel campaign to revive the Night of Fate (al-Qadr) at the shrine of the two Imams al-Hadi and al-Askari (peace be upon them).
The head of the holy shrine's delegation to Samarra, Mr. Khalil Mahdi Hanoun, said, "The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine provided more than 15,000 Iftar meals for visitors across five different locations in the city as part of the Kafeel campaign to revive the Night of Fate (Qadr) in the holy shrines of the two Imams al-Hadi and al-Askari (peace be upon them), which was launched by the holy shrine."
He added that "Iftar meals were distributed at the sites of the northern courtyard, the courtyard opposite the Imam Al-Mahdi (may Allah hasten his holy reappearance) gate, which are designated for women, the Qibla gate, in addition to the Askariyayn shrine's guesthouse, as well as the northern canopy of the shrine of Imam Ali Al-Hadi (peace be upon him)."
He explained that "the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, under the guidance of its Senior Official; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, has set up its service procession in the city of Samarra, next to the shrine of the two Imams al-Hadi and al-Askari (peace be upon them), to provide various services to the visitors coming to commemorate the third Night of al-Qadrin this sacred place."
Hanoun mentioned that "the procession involves several departments of the holy shrine and provides various services, including tea distribution, post-iftar meals, in addition to other service works." The Al-Abbas's (p) Shrine launched more than 400 buses as part of the annual Kafeel campaign to transport visitors to the city of Samarra, to commemorate the blessed Night of Qadr at the shrine of the two Imams al-Hadi and al-Askari(peace be upon them).
