AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held an iftar banquet for a number of families of martyrs and wounded security forces in Karbala governorate, which included more than 500 individuals.
This activity was supervised by the Public Relations Department represented by the Internal Relations and Coordination Division.
The official of the Division, Mr. Rasul Naji, said that"the public relations department held an iftar banquet for more than 500 members of the families of the martyrs and wounded of the security forces, from the people of the Ain Al-Tamr district in Karbala governorate, where the banquet was held in the basement of Imam al-Hussain (peace be upon him) at the Holy Shrine.
He added that "hosting the delegation came in response to the directives of the Senior Official of the holy shrine, His Eminence Ahmad al-Safi, on the need to take care of the families of the martyrs of the security forces and extend a helping hand to them in various fields".
He added that" the department has prepared an integrated program to host families, including Ziyarat of the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and providing an iftar meal at the host of the holy shrine, "indicating that "this activity comes within the program of the annual relations department to receive delegations during the month of Ramadan."
