AhlulBayt News Agency: The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine held an iftar banquet for a number of owners of the Hussayni processions and bodies in the city of Karbala.
The banquet was attended by the secretary general of the holy shrine; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, members of its board of Directors, Mr. Kadhem Obada and Mr. Afdhal al-Shami, and the head of the Department of rituals and Hussainian processions, Mr. Ali Mahmoud Karim.
Al-Shami said that"the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is keen to maintain communication with the servants of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him), and therefore organized this banquet in appreciation of the efforts of the owners of the processions and Husseini bodies in the city of Karbala, who made great efforts in serving visitors."
"The banquet was held at the host of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine, which is part of the holy shrine's programs to support Husseini rituals and serve visitors, especially in this holy month,"he added.
"The host of the holy shrine continues to provide its services to visitors and the people of the city of Karbala, and is keen to host various segments, including the owners of the Husseini processions, in appreciation of their role in reviving rituals and serving visitors,"al-Shami said.
For his part, one of the representatives of the Husseini processions, Mr. Ali Saeed al-Mankoshi, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Senior Official of the holy shrine, His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, and to its secretary general; Sayed Mustafa Mortada Aal Dia-Uddin, for this blessed invitation and kind initiative, stressing that this step shows the interest of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine in serving the Husseini processions, and strengthens the bonds of cooperation between the servants of Imam al-Hussayn (peace be upon him).
The Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine continues its efforts to enhance cooperation with the servants of Imam al-Hussayn (Peace be upon him), in order to ensure the provision of the best services to visitors to the holy shrines of al-Hussayn and Al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
