AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly met with the Shiite community in the city of Satkhira during his trip to Bangladesh.
Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, referring to the blessing of wilayah, stated, “The greatest blessing is wilayah, and according to narrations and Quranic verses, we are obligated to mention our blessings. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) told Imam Ali (a.s.), ‘Loving you is faith, and hating you is disbelief.’ Therefore, all Muslims love Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (a.s.) and recognize salvation in accepting his love and guardianship. Even Fakhr al-Razi, a Sunni scholar, stated under the interpretation of Ayat al-Kursi that whoever holds fast to Imam Ali (a.s.) in their religion has grasped the “العروة الوثقی” (firmest handhold).”
He added, “The gate of wilayah is the gate of paradise, and anyone who wishes to enter paradise must benefit from the blessing of wilayah. The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, ‘I am the city of paradise, and Ali is its gate. Whoever wishes to enter paradise must enter through its gate.’ I thank God for placing the love and guardianship of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in our hearts.”
The Secretary-General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly emphasized the importance of using modern tools to promote pure Muhammadan (p.b.u.h) Islam, stating, “Today, propagation without cyberspace is impossible. Previously, we would deliver sermons to audiences of twenty or one hundred people using Minbar. But now it is possible to reach an audience of one million in Bangladesh through cyberspace. One effective method in today’s educational efforts is producing clips and videos in local languages.”
In another part of his speech, he discussed the role of women, stating, “Women constitute half of the world’s population and are an active part of human society. For women who follow the AhlulBayt (a.s.) in Bangladesh, more programs should be organized in various fields, particularly in education. Women should be trained as instructors to take on educational roles in their regions. To this end, they must acquire skills such as teaching.”
Ayatollah Ramazani continued, “Women can hold monthly or even weekly coordination meetings among themselves. Following this, specialized conferences on women’s issues, including the role of women in spreading knowledge, can be organized. Additionally, events such as the birth anniversary of Lady Fatimah (a.s.) can be celebrated through gatherings conducted in local languages.”
