(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The Hamas Movement condemned the Fatah-controlled Palestinian Authority in the West Bank for politicizing the judiciary and using it to widen the internal gap in the Palestinian arena.
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas expressed its rejection of the lawsuit filed by a lawyer with the higher court in the West Bank to delegitimize the administrative system in the Gaza Strip.
It said that such attempt to question the administrative status quo in Gaza is like contesting the integrity of the electoral process that was agreed upon by the participating factions and confirmed by the central election commission.
The Palestinian Movement emphasized its refusal to recognize any verdict to be issued by the court, demanding its rivals in Fatah to be sensible and have the will to end the national division and stand against the occupation.
