Director of Non-Iranian Pilgrims’ Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi reported about sending e-mail to 12,000 non-Iranian pilgrims of the Razavi holy shrine in nine live international languages in the current year on different occasions.
According to news from Astan Quds Razavi website, Hujjat al-Islam Ali Baqeri giving this report referred to the activities of the Islamic Relations Office and noted, “Non-Iranian pilgrims of the Islamic Relations Office of Astan Quds Razavi are coming so far from 60 countries from five world continents and this office sends e-mail to them in nine international languages.”
Referring to the subjects of these e-mails he said, “E-mails contain messages of congratulation and condolence on religious occasions, prayer of Ramadan, etc. that inspire the spiritual atmosphere of the Razavi holy shrine to anyone who are distant from Imam Reza (A.S.).”
“The office has tried to hold all the foreign Shi’as and pilgrims of the Razavi holy shrine who are far from the holy shrine connected to the celestial shrine of Imam Reza (A.S.) at any moment”, Baqeri asserted.
“Propagating the culture of the Ahl al-Bayt (A.S.), promoting in the field of manner and conduct of the prophet (S.A.W.) and the Infallible Imams (A.S.), spreading the highest moral affairs, increasing enthusiasm in reading religious texts, and resolving religious doubts have been taken into consideration in all the activities of the office”, he added.
“Most audience send back the message of appreciation and delivery confirmation upon receiving the message and the assays show their positive feedback in this regard”, he remarked.
Referring to another action of this office in concern with sending postal consignments, Baqeri said, “Postal consignments that are sent to foreign pilgrims include Qur’an, Nahj al-Balaghah, books, cultural products, inscription, CDs, digital files, pictures of the Razavi holy shrine and so on, sent on different occasions.”
“Birthday anniversaries of Hazrat Fatemeh (A.S.), Imam Ali (A.S.), Imam Ja’far Sadeq (A.S.), Imam Reza (A.S.), Imam Zaman (A.S.), and Mab’ath, Wilayat days, Muharram days, Eid-e Fitr, and Nowruz (Iranian new year) are occasions when all the e-mail subscribers receive postal consignments”, Baqeri continued.
“Last year, 3200 cultural packages were sent to different parts of the world for e-mail subscribers of 1392 who have been in permanent contact with the Razavi holy shrine”, he added.
“During the blessed Ramadan month it was tried to send to all the subscribers the prayers of each day of the blessed month providing the ground for their enlightening and enjoying this spiritual space”, he said.
