Grand Ayatollah Sistani's son join volunteers to defend holy shrines against ISIL militants in Iraq

The source added that Ayatollah Sistanis's son accompanying with other 500 volunteers joined to the defender of holy shrines.

Iraqi Authorities confirmed that after issuing religious decree by most revered spiritual leader, Grand Ayatollah Sistani,  which called on the people of Iraq to take up arms and defend the country against the militants of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL), millions of Iraqis including Shiites and Sunnis have headed to Balad and Samara and also to the outskirts of Mosul, Dhi Qar governor Yahya Baqer al-Nasiri.

A security forces, who prefers to remain anonymous, said: Grand Ayatollah Sistanis's son 'Sayed Mohammad Baqir al Sistani' has joined to the group of volunteers in defending the holy shrines in Samarra.

The source added that he accompanying with other 500 volunteers joined to the defender of holy shrines.
