Senior Shiite Scholar 'Sayed Javad Hussaini' Passes Away in Qom

Shiite scholar, Hojjat ul Islam Sayed Javad Hussaini, a learned man in Qom seminary school and an active representative in the second and forth parliament of the Iran Government (1984-1996), has passed away today morning after a lengthy battle with illness at Kamkar hospital in Qom.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Shiite scholar, Hojjat ul Islam Sayed Javad Hussaini, a learned man in Qom seminary school and an active representative in the second and forth parliament of the Iran Government (1984-1996), has passed away today morning after a lengthy battle with illness at Kamkar hospital in Qom.

Hojjat ul Islam Sayed Javad Hussaini was one of the Imam Khomeini's disciples and an active member of Islamic Movement. He payed his life for victory of Imam Khomeini's movement and after the victory of Islamic Revolution played effective measures for establishing the Islamic Republic.

Secretary General, deputy directors and employees of the Ahlul Bayt World Assembly (A), as well as personnel of Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA) send deepest sympathies and sincere condolence to the family of Hojjat ul Islam Sayd Javad Hussaini especially to his son Hojjat ul Islam Alireza Hussaini Aref, General Manager of Ahlul Bayt World Assembly and director of  ABNA.

Time of funeral and commemoration ceremony will be announced later.
