Intl Confab of ‘Christian-Muslim Relations’ held in Beirut

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The international conference of ‘Christian-Muslim Relations’ was held in Beirut in the presence of Islamic and Christian scholars.The conference took a closer look at recent changes and alternations in the region and discussed related Christian-Muslim issues.  Iran envoy to Lebanon, Ghazanfar Rokn Abadi also took part in this conference and delivered a speech over the place of minor Christians in Iran. The Iranian officials pointed to the standing unity among Iranians from different religions and denominations during his speech. Iran envoy to Lebanon underscored that not differences exist among Muslims and Christians in Iran The political officials mentioned that the necessity of justice and fairness underscored in Islamic Republic of Iran. Rokn Abadi also pointed to the participation of Christians during the imposed war of Iran-Iraq and their presence in different important events in this country. End item/ 149
